my system is so much better than i ever dreamed when i started this journey about 30 years ago.never did i think i would be possible to achieve the sound, i currently hear, in my listening room.My amps are superb...the speakers are amazing...the network player sounds better than the SACD player that preceeded it.I have 2 Silent Source 'Music Reference' power cords.My new Silversmith 'Fidelium' speaker cables are truly amazing.The addition of the Uptown Audio 'EtheREGEN has significantly improved the sound.The addition of the Salon ethernet cable has improved the sonics.I changed my previous modem/router setup to a single Actiontec product.Have just added 2 REL 212 SE subwoofers. The addition has significantly improved the soundstage and midrange....as well as the bass.I have recently replaced the Symposium Platforms that were under my speakers..Tidal and RELs, with AV RoomServive EVP HDR isolation devices that have significantly improved the sound.Upgrading my Lumin to X1 level was a great idea.....Have replaced the Psvane WE 300B tubes with Psvane ACME 300B tubes.My 845s are Psvane WEs.Have also added a LessLoss Entropic C-MARC power cord to my Lumin X1.Have also added a LessLoss C-MARC RCA interconnect..Stay tuned..
Calloway, Those Chalice monoblocks are beautiful! I can understand your happiness with the Chalice driving the Tidal speakers, It must be pure heavenly bliss.
System edited: with the addition of a new entertainment center and the new Chalice Audio SET amps i now feel that my 2 channel dream has been realized. i also have added the PA Audio pwd/pwt combo with the Bridge and my computer based system is off and running.

krell man...thanks for the nice comment..the piece to the rt of my rt channel speaker is a cabinet that i had a friend make for me that is made up of individual 4-drawer layers where each drawer holds ~ 30 sacds..the cool thing is that as you fillup the layers...mine are alphabetically stored by composer or artist....he just makes another 4 drawer layer and stacks it...eventually it will get too high and i'll have to start another one but for now it works great...all tongue in groove...he really did a great job.....it is a great piece of furniture....i do not know if he would be willing to make and ship but i will ask him if you are interested...he is a fabulous wood worker...thanks..dave smith
System edited: i finally got around to adding pics of the system...the entertainment has a retractable middle shade to cover the glass from the tv and lower doors....the rear walls have core furniture diffusers.the back corners have echo bass traps.the celing,which is a 25',vaulted redwood beamed area, is basically a large diffuser also.the room is 25' long x 18' wide x 25' high.the tidal speakers are positioned far enough infront of the entertainment center as to not be affected by it...
Hi Calloway, how does the Lessloss compare to the Aluminata? Sounds like you might prefer them. If so, is the performance better all round or just for certain equipment, digital or power amp etc.? How would you describe the difference. Thanks in advance!
Calloway, after visiting the Munich High End last week, I can only second Geopolitis and encourage you to go for the Flow, especially if you consider Tidal gear as well. Argento and Tidal must be two of the most meticulously working companies on the planet and the results are there: complete coherence, as if they were designed and made for each other. And although I trust your power cords are great, try the Flow cords whilst you're at it. For my own part, I admit I've got the "cable itch" again since last Friday. Enjoy! Karel
System edited: since aquiring the argento cabling my system has,again,been improved significantly...my next purchase..when possible..will be trading the 2-argento 'reference' speaker cables in for a single pair of the new 'flow' master reference speaker cables...i would also like to replace the piega c-40's with the tidal diacera contriva' speakers...
System edited: with the addition of the biwired pair of argento serenity master reference speaker cables my system has evolved to a level i would not have thought possible after i last added the crystal cable 'ultra' speaker cables..the biwiring is truely amazing..for now....i am finished..

Glad to hear that you are enjoying the changes. Do you really think you are finished - a have my doubts (kidding). As long as you are enjoying it. Did you ever treat the room?
