Hello Rick,

I tried to PM you in June.  Will repost my message below.  Quicksilver V4s and Lamm LL2.1 are an excellent match - a great mix of detail, warmth, and dynamics.

Ceiling height is 96 inches.

Previous PM to Rick:
"Hello Rick,
I have found the Lamm LL2.1 to be very natural, clean, quiet, and lifelike. It is a solidly built unit with simple functionality and perfect fit/finish. I do tend to sell/buy components simply for the sake of change (or upgrade), but the Lamm is staying put. I purchased the Kt150 version V4s new in 2020 and direct from Quicksilver. They seem to be an excellent match with the LL2.1. Good luck with the KT170s - let me know what you discover!"

I appreciate the kind comments.

Made the diffusers from materials at home depot/lowes using skyline pattern found on line.  Yes, they are very heavy and require mounting to studs.  I used leftover hardwood floor slats for mounting which made leveling and centering rather simple.  building them was a fun, but very time consuming project, especially the sanding.  Diffusers have since been taken down to support an even cleaner look.  Also added a pair of REL S/3 subs.  Latest obsession is trying to dial everything in again.

Phono preamp in the Modwright SWLP was replaced with Sutherland 20/20.  Installed 3 x 20 Amp dedicated circuits.

Looks like many things have changed since the last time I was here.  The Modwright SWLP was replaced with a Lamm LL2.1.  The VTL ST-150 was replaced with McIntosh MC501 monolblocks, and then Quicksilver V4 monoblocks.  Moved diffusion treatments and added additional DIY panel absorbers.  LPs reorganized in new shelves.  Swapped mid century style loveseat for a leather club chair.
