Regarding the Schitt Lokius, the EQ is invisible in terms of adding any noise to the system.  On some music I felt that I wanted a touch more upper mids and sparkle to the highs (cymbals).  It has filled this in perfectly.  Added to the preamp tape loop I can switch it on and off with my remote and hear exactly the contribution it is making.  A solid purchase.
