Description

Kind of a hodgepodge without any audiophile aspirations, but it sounds good to me.

Some constraints imposed because of placement in living room, e.g., speaker stands a bit lower than prescribed to avoid overwhelming the space.

Thanks for the kind words, @mjcmt. The kit lets the music shine! (I know that’s a strange mixed metaphor —using a visual superlative (“shine”) to describe an audio experience (“music”).) I very much enjoy it, and I deeply appreciate my good fortune in being able to have it.

Hi Devilboy,
Thanks for commenting. I bought the W4S piece last December when W$S offered it as a close-out special. I'm very happy with it.

The recliner belonged to my now-deceased mother-in-law. My wife thinks she bought it at Dania here in Portland probably 20 years ago. Alternatively, she may have bought it from a Relax-the-Back store. As you can guess from the name, Dania specializes in Scandinavian-style furniture. There are no identifying labels on it or the ottoman, but my wife thinks the brand is Stressless. It's the "small" size, and it's located where it is because it won't go anywhere else in the living room.
