Description

Let go of the Sonus Faber Minima Amator II’s and picked up a set of Tannoy Turnberry GR’s. Should be good for a while. Picked up a Garrard 301 and sold my more modern turntable.

@jond

It’s looking like the Pure Audio Project speakers are winning me over. I like that they don’t need the subwoofer and they are really fun spatially. Kind of tempted to upgrade to the Voxativ 1.6’s.

I may try the Sonus Fabers in my living room system.

Yes. I’m a big Dieter Rams fan and used to live in a Mies van der Rohe home. Lots of love for design in our home—mostly me and the kids.

I really don’t see why folks cut corners on shelving. This stuff will be functional when I’m long gone.

I’m using RCA cables.

Hello @analoghaven

I believe the anti-skate is set to whichever of the settings was appropriate for 1.5-2 grams tracking force.

Right now I have cables from Audio Sensibility on the table but I’m going to be trying some Luna Cables soon so I may change that.

Thanks everyone! I didn’t think the Sonus Fabers would work with 15 watts. Really amazed at how good they are. They were great with the ARC GSI75 too but I thought it was just the amp.

The Gaia footers make a big difference for the Pure Audio Project speakers (didn’t for my ATC’s). Just not certain mr room is large enough for the open baffles to really cut loose.
