Description

I think I've achieved a good balance with this set-up. I go back and forth between the Jolida tube sound and the BIG power of the Accuphase, depending on the music and volume level I want. Either amp sounds so good with the Shearwaters. Comments are always welcome-Rich

Sfar,

Agree -- Nice stuff!

OOPS that I forgot!

There are a few different ways to get that straight:

One is to have two outs preamp and another is using a Y-connector.
A good quality Y-connector you may search among Dayton Audio in www.partsexpress.com

I assume that Shearwaters are bi-wireable and you may incorporate both of the worlds: your tube amp and SS.
THe crossover isn't neccessary if you will interface SS amp with additional volume controll(preferably active but passive is OK as well) thus you will be able to adjust a tonal balance between both of them...
