Description

System rebuild after a few years away from the hobby.

You are correct! Updated.

Now, the only thing is whether to bi-wire the the JBLs. The most economical way I see is another matching set of CV-8 cables. Two of those spades at the amp-end is awfully thick...

TBD...

The BAT is a fine piece. It had a little more accuracy and thump than I'm hearing from the Mac, but...there's a "sweetness" on some tracks that's really pleasing in the MA252. I'd actually call them "even" based on their strengths, but the LOOKS of the MA252 was my sole reason for the purchase.

Truth be told, I probably would have scrapped my speaker upgrade had I acquired the amp first!

I just traded it for a McIntosh MA252. That Mac look was too much!

The MA252 has a uniquely-good take on vocals and a few accompanying instruments. The BAT may be preferable for more complex music and recordings. A bit more analytical.
