2 channel vinyl junkie who listens to an occasional CD and watches a movie or concert now and then too.  And since 95% of my listening is 2 channel I re-took the plunge into a stereo only system and finally separated from the HT Mistress after a 12 year affair always leaving me unsatisfied.  Its good to be back to true high fidelity stereo. 

My newest acquisition, a Moon 100D DAC easily ties in the digital set top box for the television into the audio system.  It also matches my Moon 110LP phono stage as both units share the same casework.  Nice.

Heart of the system is a Marantz PM15S2 LE that powers a pair of Dynaudio Focus 260's without breaking a sweat.  After about 250 hours, I believe the Dyns are finally broken in.  These speakers are exactly what I have been looking for - dynamic, lively but without being bright or in your face.  And bass that continues to amaze. 

I am hoping this could be the last link in my system.  But I have said that before.   And I keep thinking about those sexy blue power meters found on a certain brand of amplifier.

Finally, being a vinyl junkie, turntables include a VPI Traveler V2 with an Ortofon Rondo Blue and a Technics SL-1400 semi-auto that I totally restored and is operating as if its fresh out of the box.  It is mated with an Audio Technica AT-14sa and NOS ATN-14 Shibata stylus that I was recently lucky enough to find.
