System edited: I'm speechless. Two recent changes/additions. First, the Revelation Audio Labs Passage umbilical cord to the Mapletree Ultra preamp. Second, replacing the Primaluna stereo amp with a Music Reference RM 10. I cannot believe my ears. Its not just that my system is giving good sound, but the emotion, elegancy and refinement is leaving me at a loss for words. Thanks to all who put up with my whinning to make this happen and those who helped make it happen.
Great bass!. Smooth and exceptionally musical. Very sensitive to tube changes. The closest sound to vinyl from my own digital rig yet. Doesn't sound dark at all in my system. I love the Lector!
Herron Audio VTSP 1A/166
As many have described the Herron before me, it simply gets out of the way and lets the music play. Clear, clean, neutral and uncolored. It has taken my system to a new level of enjoyment. It doesn't kill my old Mapletree, but it does have a tape loop for the Merlin Bam which is a big help for multiple sources.
Revelation Audio Labs Passage Silver 1 meter
An umbilical cord connecting power supply to linestage on the MAD Ultra preamp. Awesome cord. The absolute best upgrade I've ever made w/ a cable
Music Reference RM 9
120 per channel tube amp using Siemens EL34 tubes. Ram tubes in the V1 position and Amperex 6922 PQ in V2. Later version of amp as it does not have the gain switch. Love this amp!
Merlin VSM-M
Need some time to settle and find a matching amp. Will report back later

BPT PPC
Power strip made of a copper chasis w/ upgraded Oyaide SWO-XXX outlets, silver wiring and BPT's own surge protection and filter. Great sound. Dynamic and lively. Better than directly from the wall outlet
How long did you had the Njoe Tjoeb without upsampler? Do any tube rolling or op-amp swapping with it? What do you hear now with the upsampler? BTW, If you decide to ditch the upsampler, let me know, I was thinking of giving it a whirl if I could pick one up used.
