Sorry, just seeing your question. Yes I had both the Weiss 501 and Aqua La Scala. Both great DACs. In the end I preferred the La Scala. It seems a little warmer, but still very defined. I also would give a look at the metronome la DAC. Really impressed with that one. Although I have sold both and take delivery of the nagra HD DAC tomorrow.

I saw that you had both Weiss & Aqua dacs and i want too choose between Weiss 501 and Aqua La Scala Optologic but in my country there's only demo for Weiss 501 so could you plz tell me which one is more musical especially for redbook stuff
