Passive subwoofer system with dual 12 inch drivers in cylindrical enclosures that can be placed where best. The amp is like any separate amplifier with the other components that runs them in parallel.
I do love ARC gear and the music it brings my home. I spent a few years upgrading one piece at a time up their ladder to end with this lineup. Hopefully it keeps me satisfied for a while before I start on the next generation hehe
