As I recall I went from a 14ga. power cord on the Pathos to the Viborg VP1606 which is a 10ga. power cord, that made a difference in overall impact. It is a great cord and for the price, a steal.

Have you noticed any difference with the power cables with your Pathos?  Mine seems to be the only component (so far) in my system that I have heard a difference with power cables.  First it was a Waudio power cable and more recently an Audioquest NRG-4 that I picked up as an open box item from Music Direct.

I have a second one on the way to try with my Denafrips Ares II DAC that currently has a Pangea AC-14XL (MKI I think) on it and previously a Waudio power cable.

The Valvo Cca tubes sounds detailed without being strident, bass is tight but not lumpy and midrange just feels right. I don't think there is a huge difference between the Valvo's and the Amperex PQ 6922 but enough to notice. With that said, I am using all silver cables and I bought the amp used in Feb. of 2015. I find it sounds it's best after about an hour warm up before listening.

What are your impressions with the Valvo Cca tubes?  I have Mullards and love them.  I have tried some of the stock EH tubes and find them effectively unlistenable.

Hi There,
Apparently you're still happy with the Pathos.  I had one and regret selling it.  Also, your system looks lovely- clean and simple.

I'm wondering if you ever heard the Pathos Logos MKII?   I've got Luxman, Conrad Johnson and a Wells Audio integrated but I can't get Pathos out of my head for a number of reasons.  :)

Best wishes and be well,
Regards,
Paul S
