BTW, I'm not too far from you in Raleigh, I'm in the Charlotte area. Have you been to the Cary Audio facility in Chapel Hill. They have a nice listening room that you would enjoy.

Very nice looking room. And nice choice of entry gear.
I think nad electronics and a rega tt would be a nice conservative step up for me...well someday.
