Top of the line Mission speakers from UK, built in UK when Mission was audiophile brand. Upgraded with skiing Ninja crossover, Norez and rewired with Electra cable. WBT binding posts.
    • GRAAF Integrated
GRAAF GM50B : an amplifier with very fantastic drive capabilities, transparency and musicality! I love GRAAF and I'm sorry it is closed today. With KT90, NOS 6H30P-DR supertubes, Mullards gold pins E188CC.

    Quiet, bandwith, music
    • Synergistic Research Designer X2 Quantum tunneled
    bandwith and music
    • ISEM EGO Phase 2
CD PRO II based drived. 96khz upsampling.
    • SYMPOSIUM Rollerblocks HDSE grade 3
Under Speakers and amplifier. Very big improvement in soundstage, bandwith.
    • Bryston BDA 1
High end performance (musicality, bandwith, good transparency) but not high end price. Used without upsampling because it loose musicality.

Hi Mjcmt and Islandmandan, sorry to answer so late I didn't came back to Audiogon since a while!

I just seen Skiing Ninja who helped me to rebuild the crossover with good parts is now closed : http://www.skiingninja.com/

I'm also sorry to see it is for health reason. Nevertheless their upgrades was really good. I think it is always possible to find their producs as Norez damping, Sonicaps, Erse copper foil coils. This upgrade was a big step for transparency and musicality.

Mission 90's series I agree was especialy musical and also GRAAF amplifier despite I think the GM50 is a little "hifi", I prefers older products as Grafiti 5050/ GM 20 OTL, GM 100... Nevertheless at this price it's one of the best you can find!

Ulysse21,

I really admire your system. You've spent the money where it really matters.

I would like to hear much more detail about your Skiing crossovers, who designed and built them, and what parts were used. Quite intriguiging.

Best regards,
Dan

Ulysse, lovely system that I'm sure plays music for the ears, not the audiophile mind. I've heard the earlier 25wpc el34 Graaf integrated amp and it captivated me so much that I hope to own one someday, maybe your version. I'm also a big fan of Mission loudspeakers and I'm on my second pair of their '90s monitors w/ my modest Denon receiver.

Hello Roxy,

You have some information here : http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr.pl?aamps&1215166475

I spent some time in Modena for holidays and I confirm than production is closed but the company "Excel audio", a part of GRAAF company, continue to repair GRAAF products. But they was all so sad!

I heard GRAAF has been taken by AUDIO ANALOGUE but there no news about a new GRAAF production.

Ulysse21,
Why do you say that Graff is closed? They still have an active website.
