Very clean!!! Hope your still enjoying this system!!! I experienced similar improvement in bass definition and punch with the addition of traps.

Well the rectangle was just me seeing if I wanted to move my rack up a few feet.

I was using the blue painters tape as a DO NOT CROSS line for the carpet cleaners.

I'm posting a new photo with the traps in place. It also shows the VTL TP6.5 an amazing Phono stage!

Very nice system. Congratulations. I agree on the bass traps.

Ever try sticking a sofa pillow in your cieling corners behind you WP8's? If the experiment helps, maybe try something more formal. (I just left the pillows :)

What's the blue tape rectangle in for of your rack???

System edited: I just added the Real Traps and it made a huge difference. If your on the fence to add base traps do your self a favor and add them. I've been asked by other audiophiles where am I hiding the sub now.

When I was at CES two years ago when the MB-450's II came out I knew I wanted them. My dealer shortly got them in and had them hooked up to WP8's and I knew they were for me.

I haven't had a chance to compare to other tube amps however I've very happy.

The WP8's don't have the punch I would like so I'm thinking about adding a sub.
I contacted ASC a while ago and have been looking at different options.

Nice setup. Have you considered acoustic treatments to help with the bass. i am surprised you are getting enough punch with the WP8's

Very nice system. I have WP7s and have been considering the MB-450s. Problem is, there are no dealers in my area that carry them for audition. Did you happen to compare them to any other tube amps? I'm curious how their sound compares to other tube amps.
