Trying to decide if the Unico Integrated (80W) would provide more "punch" to my system, though what I'm experiencing is sweet. Bass is lacking but I have to continue playing with speaker placement until I find that happy medium. Considering the possibility of a sub and calling it a day...
I've changed the tubes in my S6 to SED EL34's and Amperex 12AU7's. I've also added a Nottingham Analogue Horizon SE with Rega RB250 with OL weight (for now - replacing with NA Space tonearm) and Denon DL103 cart.
Lost in music? I'm sure that's the case. I've been listening to Kestrel hot rods for a couple of years now. They are my favorite speaker for a small room. I recently added a Velodyne SPL-800 to mine and it's working very nicely. This is my second attempt at a sub (1st with Kestrels) and this time it's good.
