It all started with an Audio Refinement Complete integrated with a Denon 1650ar and Titus monitors. Seeking more bass I then switched to PSB Stratus Bronze floorstanders. I felt that they needed more power and a larger room and didn't have the funds for either, so I sold the whole rig. About 2 months ago I started over and have put together this system for a 12X13 room that unfortunatly doubles as 2ch home theater. Theater was part of my consideration in purchasing the IL120 and the 900ES. The RABOS kit is wonderful and the result is much better than with my earlier Bronze's. As for upgrades, I'm looking for more power and dynamic range for movies. I also think I need to look into purchasing some serious room treatments. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I too tried the audio refinement with some PSB's. The stratus minis. Didn't work. I'd love to hear your opinion on the Cairn amp though. Supposedly they make one heck of a nice integrated.
