Just moved from a Plinius 9200 to the combination of the Janus Aesthetix and the Plinius SA-250. The sound is wonderful, but I am still getting used to the extra noise from tubes, and thinking of trying some tube rolling...
David I to have a 2 channel system all tube very happy with it. I want to use a sub with it and for my home theater. How do you like your rel and how do you have it set up.
Hi David, I hope you are as happy with your Shahinian system as am I. I have the newest Diapasons but have never heard the Obelisks. Oddly, I ownwed a pair of Obelisks but sold them before hearing them. Did you have to break in the Obelisks or were they used? A new pair takes months to break in. If you get a chance, try a pair of Bedini Classic 100 monos. They are stunning with the Diapasons. John Marks also likes having RPG diffusors on the ceiling at the first reflection point. Other users including myself have benefited greatly from absorption at the rear and side reflection points. Happy Listening It appears you have assembled a great system.
