Description

This system is a collection of components that have been added thru the years, going back to the mid-70's. The major upgrades needed at this time are CD transport and cables. I'm thinking about a SACD/DVD-A player, but not ready to jump yet.

The speakers are bi-amped using the speakers passive crossover and the bass equalizer to blend the subs and panels. The Acoustat amp does a great job on the subs and the Pass amps sound great on the panels. Overall I am very pleased with this setup.

I have 2 dedicated 30 amps circuits with 10 gauge wire feeding the system. The walls in the room have a double layer of plywood and 5/8" sheetrock with studs on 12" centers.

I am interested in your selection on the equalizer in the biamp mode. I am so confused regarding biamping! I am two classe 200 amp avail.to biamp(vert?). Do I need an active crossover as you have, do the passive crossovers need to be bypassed in my Mezzo's?
