The Monitor 7's were just sitting around so I added them (a little later vintage than the rest of the system). A friend who saw me reading an audiophile rag mentioned that he had all of this old gear in his garage if I wanted to take a look. Did I ever. Debating adding the Advent Model 300 as a pre in my main system, it's that good. Awaiting a replacement stylus for the Thorens, to really test the system. I hate to add a CD player to throw off the 70's mojo, maybe a cassette deck (just for the feel). I also have a "Frequency Energizer" by Fosgate. Talk about retro...

    Actually a Stanton, but they were absorbed by Pickering.

    Actually a flea watted amp, but the phono stage and tuner are the best parts of the design.

    Subject to foot faults, but a classic nonetheless.

    Keep the fire extinguisher close in case she flames on....

    Still solid. A little boxy.
