You are right about the Lamm mono blocks SET have their limit.

The Aurum Cantus New Grand Supreme with the Aero Striction Tweeter (This is the same tweeter as the $90K Burmester B-100 and $160K Magico M6 speakers) has spec at:
    ◾Design:4.5-way vented-box
    ◾Frequency Response:25Hz-40kHz
    ◾Sensitivity (2.83V/1m):90dB
    ◾Impedance:4 ohms(minimum 3.2 ohms)
    ◾Power Requirement:50-500W recommended

My room is 22' width by 26' length.

The Lamm 2.1 wouldn`t be an ideal match with this Aurum Cantus speaker. Four way/3 crossover design,87 db and 4 ohm load(minimum 3.2 ohm).High power solid state would match this particular design better than an 18 watt SET.

Nice. What are the dimensions of your room?

My previous amps were the Lamm ML2.1 (not enough power), Plinius SA Reference (may needs 2 of these Plinius) and Pass Labs XA-160.5 mono blocks. All are very good Class A amplifiers but the Shengya PSM-600 is a whole different level with its naturalness and delicacy. These Chinese mono block amps are simply superb and very very musical. They are integrated perfectly well with my MBL 6010D preamp and the AC New Grand Supreme speakers.

    Lindemann001, Very nice system!

I've heard many positive comments regarding Shengya PSM-600 competitive with the very best in the market ... how does it compare to amps you were considering before final purchasing decision?
