CJ PV-12 line stage modified by Bob Backert at RHB SoundDezign: both the main circuit and the power supply have been replaced with Mr. Backert's own designs.
Marantz SA-11s1
Love it.
Odyssey Audio Kismet Monoblocks
Actually I have the Kismet monoblock boards, inside of the Stratos Extreme cases. I used to have Stratos Extremes and upgraded the internals to the Kismet.
Art Audio Vinyl 1
Yup, the Vinyl One. Big and punchy.
Roksan Xerxes X
It's black.
Roksan Tabriz
This tonearm seems a little crude to me. Who knows.
Dynavector DV-XX2 mkII
In the words of Yellow, "oh yeah"
Dynavector 10-X4 mkII
Actually it's the 10x-5. But it's been re-tipped by Soundsmith. Very speedy now. However the bass warmth has gone away.
Usher Audio Mini dancer 2
With the diamond (DMD) tweeters.
Love 'em. True, I might need more midrange resolution. But for dynamics, deep bass that's never blobby or vague, glorious highs -- these speakers are a serious steal.
I think you got a big bang sitting there, this is nice! How is the PV12 makes it after modifications? I have a PV12 as well with built in phono, can't decide whether I should go with SoundDesign of stick with CJ to change the capacitors to teflon. Or just go to PV15 and then do mods. Best Regards
