I've got a 9x9 room with 11 foot ceiling. The PMCs are about 3 feet from the side walls and 18 inches from the rear wall. The listening configuration is pretty much near field.
System edited: I've pretty much recabled the system over the last year. I've removed all the Audioquest wiring and replaced with Kimber, Wireworld and Chord. In particular, the Chord cables have done a bunch to tame some minor brightness issues with the system. I'm probably done with any mods until it's time for a new phono cartridge.
