The addition of the XDS1 and AudioNote interconnects and speaker wire revealed the system to be even more magical than it had been for the decade before. I was so enamored of the capabilities of the Extrema's after all these years that I purchased a complete replacement set of drivers, fearful that they would no longer be available should any one fail.

AudioNote UK SOOTTO - Single Ended
1m solid silver: "SOOTTO (SO Over The TOp!) which with 120 strands of pure silver strands in each conductor, split between 3 different wire gauges to further enhance signal transfer behaviour rewrites much of what interconnects are supposed to do, its clarity and dynamic differentiation almost defies what one would have thought possible."

Lovely system you've put together. Onr comment; PICTURES!! I want to see all those components, esp the Extremas. I own Guarneri's and am obv partial of SF, especially when paired with tubes as you have done so nicely
In my opinion you `ve got a great system . I love Sonus Faber speakers, the way they sound and look. I`m just curious, What other speakers you checked out before making this choice? And what you liked better in Sonus Fiber?
David's system has truly been in the making for 10 years, however I've known David for about 30 years and I can say with great confidence that David's "finally done" status will last approximately 3-5 months. Stay tuned.
Thanks Sd, I wasn't putting the two together. Small wonder that David's so pleased. BTW, he sent me a note to confirm his cancellation of all audiophile subsciptions! Gunbei, he just might make it ;-)
Ozfly: Brown Electronic Labs is better known by its abbreviation, BEL. Most of the printed references and reviews of the amp call it the BEL 1001, so look for it under that title.
David, I salute you. Ten years of work and total satisfaction. You must have put a ton of time into matching everything just right!!! I'm not familiar with Brown so tried looking it up in the Manufacturers Directory but they don't seem to have a web-site. Could you share a little more info on that? By the way, I would strongly recommend that you now cancel any subscriptions you have to any audio publication and just sit back and enjoy! You lucky devil. By the way, anything in the way of acoustical treatments? Thanks.
