Except for the AH! cdp, I built this system around the LS3/5a, in order to address the limitations of a 10'x11' room. Transparency, and a lustrious midrange tonality were it's lofty goals. Although I am very pleased with the results, there are a few areas to be upgraded in the coming months. These include the preamp, for which I am looking for a complementary all tube design for the Quicksilvers, which are SS rectified with great dynamics. Bass traps, absorbtion/reflection panels are also planned in order to deal with the boxlike room, and to make way for a Rel Strata 3 sub. I welcome any comments, criticisms, and advice.
