Description

System streamlined upon arrival of two babies in quick succession. Goodbye tube pre amp, actually solid state is "listenable", or may be it was just the remote talking...

Ahh... the sign of a true audiophile. Only a die hard audiophile would consider a system with 12 named components and tweaks, separates for both digital AND amplification, to be STREAMLINED!!! Damn thing probably takes up an entire wall still, given the tweaks and everything else. I'd hate to see what you USED to have. Sheeshh.

Good job! I see your strategy. Start with a super monster system of some sort, because then you can streamline to a competant system yet still be able to proclaim "honey, I shrunk the system" :)

Seriously though, I'll bet it sounds great with that English/French flavor.
