I've redone the core of my system this year. The amp, cdp and speakers are new.

Using Zu Cable Bok power cords for amp and CDP.

Cambridge Audio A500 integrated amp. Cambridge Audio 640C cpd.

PSB Stratus Bronze speakers. An incredible bargain of a speaker, especially if mainly listen to rock.

    140 watt hybrid amp made in Italy. Stereophile class A (ST reviewed).
    • Cairn Fog v.3
    Latest version of the Fog. Includes digital inputs.
    • Acoustic Zen Adagio
    2.5 way? Ribbon tweeter and transmission line bass.
    • Kimber Hero
    Connecting CDP to amp. First high quality IC I've bought. Huge step up from the bright AQ Copperhead it replaced.
    • NAD C-440
    I'm amazed how few people use a tuner. I've paid for the system and want to use it to listen to everything.
    • Home Depot Wire Isle's Finest
    Generic heavy guage cabling. The speakers are bi-wired.
    • Technics SLQ-200
    Bought in 1984. Won't be upgrading since I don't have a very large vinyl collection. Decided to put my money into the other components.
    • Grado Silver, Prestige Series
    Reasonable upgrade for my cheap turntable. I want to move LP's to digital and mothball the vinyl rather than invest a lot in it.
