I have always been under the assumption that timbre matching in high-end speakers is just voodoo....timbre matching may be ok in cheaper smaller speakers...but for larger more expensive and well built speakers I don't think it has much merit....just my opinion

Why would you mix the Martin Logan center channel with the Aerials? I'd suggest an Aerial center for timbre matching.

Thanx Sugar....I put it in when I started this and forgot to remove it.....your absolutly right.....thinking of a Smart devices Servo Sub....but can't find any specs on it....I saw one once in widescreen review....Chris

What is the purpose of the Hsu subwoofer?? It is nice for a mid-fi system, but not for the dream system listed.
