Description

My evolving system: Wow! I just upgraded the amp from a Krell to the new Pass Labs X-250.5. This is the most amazing amp I have ever heard. I think I may have finally found the amp I will be keeping for a long time. This is the brand new update to the Pass Labs amps the .5 series which has a sonic signature similar to their XA series but with more power and speed. Now I’m going to experiment with other CD sources and cables

HI, i also think the same in regards with the x 250.5. This is an unbeliveble solid state amp!! I've traded back a pair or Audio research ref 210 monos to my supplier here in Australia. The Audio research ref 210s are over price, low quality amps that keep blowing up!! they are also very noisey! The x250.5 actually has more control, sound even better! without the noise and big price tag!! I'm using the X250.5 to drive a pair of QUAD 2950 ELS..my pre-amp is the Audio research REF3 (not blown up yet!!)

Did you ever compare the Pass to Ayre or BelCanto power amps ?
