Description

This is my first system with everything still breaking in, so any opinions or suggested improvements are welcome. I listen to a wide variety of music, however the bulk of is currently rock/metal, with jazz and blues on the side. My next upgrades will be furniture/amp stands, try out different cables between mac mini and ayre, and ayre to the VTL preamp, and after that work on my analog source.

YMMV, but here are some links that, so far, are on the top of my list for future purchase dealing with dirty AC:

BTW, I've learned recently that some amps even require 20A lines. Good luck, let me know how it goes?

Thanks __troy.

Funny you should mention the 20A lines. I'm renting right now, but moving to my new place later this month and I've been seriously thinking of adding two 20A lines (I'm assuming one line can be used for both monoblocks, and the preamp/source can use the other line).

Impressive first system...you've done your homework.

If your not renting the place you live in, some of my soon to be tasks are running dedicated 20A lines for audio equipment to clean up the dirty AC coming into them. I have noticed my system will even sound better late at night with less "stuff" running in the house and neighborhood.
