System edited: A system that began in 2001 with Home Theater Onkyo receiver, NAD CDP & Polk Audio R30 speakers, resisting impulse upgrades has been a challenge as of late. My system has been overhauled over the years and about 5 years ago, the Onkyo receiver, NAD cdp & Polk speakers were all sold or traded for the system that I have now. Thanks to used/demo equipments and Audiogon, I managed to put this system together for less than 5K. Over the last year, Ive wanted to replace my Cambridge 640C CDP with REGA Apollo or Saturn but due to budget constraint and the desire to add a turntable to my system, I decided instead to add the entry level Pro-ject turntable. Im still waiting for the Pro-jects arrival ordered through Needle Doctor and much to my dismay, the scheduled arrival of this week has been delayed all the way to next week due to weather conditions in the Midwest states. I have never audition the Pro-ject with the Simaudio integrated amp so Im just wondering if anyone can chime in that have a similar system to mine. Waiting anxiously for my turntable ~
