Description

Originally this was an all Onkyo system that I purchased on ebay for $50. At one time I had a Realistic STA-2100 that I had hoped to build a system around but was forced to sell it for other family needs.

Than several members here have added to the system to greatly improve the sound.

1991 Model 100 wpc I was aiming for the M-504 with those big VU meters on the front. Hey back in my day power was equal to mass, The bigger the item the more power it had. Plus I think those big VU's look kind of sexy. :)

You don't have to spend $30K to see a real improvement. Just add to your Rotel to see noticeable improvements.
Anyway welcome to the hobby or high fidelity sound.

Enjoy!

Thank you for the comments. There has been such an improvement in sound quality I can't imagine what systems running $30,000 and up would sound like. I have been very fortunate between the great members here and some outstanding deals of ebay.

Again thank you for the words of encouragement.

Nice to be blessed with a starter system. We have all been there and some of us have not strayed far from one.

Your Rotel cdp is a nice piece.

You can find the matching integrated amp and tuner from that era for really cheap. Both pieces were highly aclaimed in its price. If you want everything operational and better sound you can be proud of do consider older Rotel to compliment your cdp.
