I want a system that effectively integrates a 2 ch analog system with a great 5.1 home theater system. Still looking for a 3ch amp to complement the BAT VK-300x SE for the center and surround channels. Top contenders in my mind are the Theta Dreadnaught I or II, Cary Cinema 3, Classe CAV-150 or 180, Conrad Johnson MF5600 and BAT-VK6200. Would love to get the BAT, but it is soooo big and sooo expensive albiet the natural choice for matching. Any suggestions. Also, biding my time for a pair of used Revel S-30s in black to finish out the 5.1 system. I am using Kimber PR-4 speaker cables and a mix of interconnects, but would like to get XLR interconnects for the L/C/R speakers. Any suggestions? Thanks for looking.

Great Surround Processor and very good 2 channel DAC as well. I tried out the Musical Fidelity Tri-Vista 21 against this piece and it won hands down. Go figure? The soundstage was much more realistic and natural, whereas the Tri-Vista 21 seemed distant and some of the information seemed muted.

Great Monitors that are a steal in my opinion. Puts the intruments and performers in the room with you. I still get moved emotionally by these speakers. This is my second pair. I sold my first pair only to buy them again because I missed them soooo much.
REL Acoustics Stadium mk III
I love this sub because it does music so right. It disappears when the proper xover is used on the Casanova and does not sound at all smooshy. How's that for reviewer jargon? It has laid the foundation for the music and opened up the soundstage at the same time. Current xover settings 50Hz in phase perfect mode.

20amp version. Has weakened the bass a little bit. Still looking into this affect. Smoothed out the highs in a nice way without smearing or loss of detail.
System edited: Recently sold my MF Tri-Vista 21 and BAT VK-300x SE. Then I bought the Theta Digital Dreadnaught II with five 225W modules. I like the sound from the Theta much better than the BAT. It sounds much more natural and the bass is much more powerful and taught than with the BAT. The next thing to do is buy a screen for the Runco and get some RPG Abfusor panels to tune the rooms reverberation time and diffusion characteristics.
