Description

Dump those sad little plastic computer speakers and add real 16-bit CD quality hi-fi sound to your computer, TV, media player, or iDevice dock. Enjoy real hi-fi music even while you work on your computer. This setup will also fill a small to medium sized room with dynamic, realistic sound.

This is about as small as you can start and have real audiophile hi-fi. Set up a personal stereo or upgrade your TV or iPod sound. The A2s have serious bass output for small speakers. They were designed by expert studio monitor designers using custom drivers.

A monolithic solid state power amp is integrated into the left A2 speaker. All you need to set up is included.

Upgrade your system later with an Audioengine S8 Powered Subwoofer for tight, fast, deep bass.

Within the W3 Wireless Adapter pair is a high quality USB DAC and an ADC to transmit analog, if desired. So the W3 is a universal wireless music link that will connect any source to any stereo, speaker dock, or powered speakers. The wireless aspect also provides isolation benefits.

Listen to the W3 Receiver with headphones when you want private music. It drives my 300 ohm Sennheiser HD600 headphones plenty loud.

Add 2 more W3 Receivers to set up audio zones anywhere within 100 feet. Then add another W3 with up to 3 more receivers for a total of 6 audio zones for whole house music. The W3 does not use your home network. It sets up its own.

When ready, add a D1 or D2 wireless DAC to jump to 24 bit file quality playback. Even starting small there's huge room to grow.

This is the perfect starter system. Small and simple, there are no huge, heavy components and no tangled nest of wires running everywhere. The speakers fit in the palms of your hands. The W3 fits into a pocket or computer bag.

Cute but powerful, this setup sounds fabulous. The A2 was highly praised in Stereophile Magazine. Just add any computer with USB output or any analog audio source and let the fun begin.

I have this system at home and I will gladly provide you one like it. I'm an Audioengine Authorized Dealer. Full specs, details, and reviews are available on http://iHi-Fi.com.

Stereophile - A2 Review

"I have never been more impressed with or more stunned by a component I've reviewed for Stereophile than I was with the Audioengine 2. The level of sound quality produced by this uncolored, detailed, articulate, and dynamic speaker, in all situations, was beyond reproach, and its ratio of value to cost borders on the criminal."

Try for yourself. Audition at home with a 30 day money back guarantee. I have one of these setups at home and I sell them. I'm an Audioengine dealer.
