Yes, I am juvenile enough to write that. Speakers are the oldest. NADs replaced a big HK amp, a Tandberg preamp, and a mid-fi tuner and CDP. On a tight budget, I elected new for the warrantees. I was really surprised when the interconnects were installed. I buy from a vendor who has big ProAcs and Naim gear, and my sound can begin to compare, esp mids and highs. Bass is open and tight; not murky. The Rega P2 was sold and a Pro-Ject Essential is on board. A slight upgrade to the OM-10 stylus smoothed the highs and a pair of Gavin Basic interconnects from phonostage to amp gave great clarity, depth and range. Now, this TT set up is better than the Rega. the Rega with the Bias cartridge smothered mids and highs
Have responded well to every upgrade. Can hang with some big "Pro"s. Made in Denmark.

Nothing basic about these sub $100 gems. Full open spectrum without one element overpowering another; full open bass and intricate background detail. btw phonostage and C326bee

Well articulated mids out of the box but wispy highs and weak bass. Improved greatly with Gavin cables and an Orto OM 10 stylus. Stylus upgrade polished the highs and the Gavin interconnect brought amazing range and openess.
Very nice system. You have clasic high value for minimal outlay there. I'm a big NAD fan myself. I also use the Chord Company cables. Their products are outstanding for the money. Are you in the USA?
