Well, this system has been making me smile since I put it together. I actually started out with an Arcam 9 Alpha (used) but that was way too much power for what I needed. I got the Super T on the cheap and it works perfectly in the small room I have. The MA S1's mated well with the Alpha and they were cheap so I kept them. One of these days I'll buy a set of tektons for the efficiency. Cables were just found cheap on A-gon. I had DH Labs cables on my surround sound setup so I stuck with those and I saw the Eichmann for cheap and figured I'd try them out. The shakti was a wacky tweak that I saw for cheap and I figured I'd check it out. Seems to make a difference but I wouldn't go crazy over tweaks. The BD cones cleaned up the sound a bit on the cd player though. Speaking of which, the Samsung is the real jewel here, great sound out of this mod and it was fairly cheap. I'm not in pursuit of perfection here. I just wanted to get something that works on the cheap in a small room and this works for me.
