This is my stereo system (I have another home theatre system). The system was disconnected and neglected in storage for the past 8 years (the kids took precedence, I moved house and did extensive building renovations). I am now trying to recreate my music space but cannot recreate the sound I used to enjoy. Some of the VR-8 drivers need replacing, the velodyne amp has gone dead and the Krell seems to deliver a much harsher midrange than I remember. Do I start again with a new system, or do I refurbish what I have? Haven't decided yet.
