Description

I have been a member of this site for about two years. I have bought all the components in my current system on Audiogon.

While I am generally pretty satisfied with the current lineup, there is nothing that cannot be improved. Accordingly, I am interested to hear opinions as to what are the weak links in this system.

Thanks.

Looks like a well-rounded system. Pretty evenly balanced, perhaps leaning towards the "clean and tight" side? While I'm not familiar with the Sim Audio preamp, you might try out a tube preamp for your music/2ch side of the system. I have found tube preamps to add some richness to timbres and air around the instruments. Perhaps a BAT VK series preamp or even warmer, something like the Conrad Johnson 16LS....

Kind of hard to point to any weak link in your rig as far as I can see. Good job, and enjoy!

If your bias is towards natural timbre of voices/instruments, and transparency, I would upgrade your interconnects. Nordost Quattro fil or SPM cables.
