First off let me say thank you for your response to my thread.I am currently working on power cords for my system. My system is strictly analog.I am building a power cord for my turntable and looking into buying an absolute power cord mk2 for my phono stage and some herbie halo tube dampers in order to lower the noise floor.I am also renting but i'm looking into replacing the wall plugs with acme cryoed silver wall outlets. Also i'm isolating each component in my system from vibrations.Lastly I've heard a lot of good things about the 47 labs cable which has got me really interested in trying it,just might do so.Will post a picture of my system soon.Regards Derockster

Sorry it was late at night when I ready your post! I thought you said "done with electrics"...my mistake. I asked because I have just finished myself. Unfortuantely I rent so I am limited in what I can do, but I am happy with the results. The biggest improvement I made was to eliminate all grounding except for electrical cords except on my preamp...using PS Audio power cords I tool out the ground pin on amps and CD player. everything is grounded via interconnects leading to the preamp, and the noise dropped completely off! Best of luck...let me know where you end up.
